As part of our commitment to deliver the best mobile deals to you (and because we like to have all the latest knowledge at our fingertips!) we make it easier for you to compare a wide variety of the latest handsets to make sure that you get the right model for your business needs.
Let's compare the two latest knockout handsets, the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus. And we're not afraid to embrace our inner tech-geek!! For the ultimate in-depth comparison, take a look at the information below. Like we've said, we can compare any number of handsets for you so that you can make the right choice - and we're always more than happy to share our informed opinions with you too!

The majority of all the tech information is the same for both phones, but don't let that fool you, the name is not the only difference.

In terms of physical size, the X is definitely the smaller and lighter handset, but despite that it has a 0.3 inch larger display. That's because the X doesn't have a bar across the top and bottom, so it utilises the full front screen. But that's not where the difference in the display stops. The X has a super AMOLED capacitive screen. The 8 Plus can't quite match that new technology, it has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen instead which is perhaps more reliable and well tested.

Both phones have a glass front and back, but the difference is in the material the frame is made of. The X has a stainless steel frame, so should be slightly more scratch resistant and stronger than the 8 Plus aluminium frame.

The main difference you'll want to know about though is how you unlock the thing! The iPhone 8 Plus uses the tried and tested fingerprint method of entry, the X on the other hand uses face recognition technology to unlock. Both systems are great for keeping 'small fingers' off your device, let's just hope they aren't smart enough to do either while you are sleeping!
